World Christians, particularly those new to the whole idea, can be like explorers lost in the desert – it is difficult to know where to go! There are so many resources available but it can be helpful to have someone point you in the right direction.

Ethne to ethne – a site providing resources for all peoples (Greek ethnê) to be involved in prayer and action for those peoples less-reached by the gospel.

Global Connections – is a grouping of mission agencies, colleges, and churches committed to world mission.

International Journal of Frontier Missions – an online mission magazine with hundreds of archived articles.

International Prayer Council – helps to connect prayer networks and ministries worldwide to focus prayer on ‘common global concerns’.

Joshua Project – seeks to ‘identify and highlight the people groups of the world that have the least exposure to the gospel and the least Christian presence in their midst’.

Journey Deepens – a range of resources by Missions Focus International. There is also ‘Ask a Missionary’ with 300 questions and answers.

Kairos is an exciting interactive course that looks at our world from God's perspective. It can help you grasp God's global purpose and catch a glimpse of the unrelenting advance of Christianity around the world. 

Lausanne Committee for World Evangelisation Related Documents – this part of the main LCWE site has more 30 Occasional Papers including ones on holistic mission, the persecuted church, bioethics, and prayer in evangelism.

Momentum – an online mission magazine with ZIP’d archives.

Mission Frontiers – an online mission magazine with dozens of back issues.

Missiopedia – an online encyclopedia of missions knowledge, editable by anyone.

Missionary Training Service – has an online database of all evangelical training courses world wide – including 303 in the UK. There are also missionary training materials such as a set of 10 booklets including ‘Unreached Peoples of the World’ and ‘The Effective Sending Church’ and ‘How to Make Disciples in Other Cultures’.

OSCAR – the 'UK Information Service for World Mission' Categories includes Opportunities, Service, Supporter, OSCARactive, News and Events, and About OSCAR.

Photomission – a community of Christian photographers, offering material for sale. 

Strategic Network – lists hundreds of articles on Bible and mission, history of mission, humanities and mission, missiology, missionary life, modern missions, Practical missions, sciences and mission, theology of mission, and world religions.

World Missions Atlas Project – contains includes a vast range of maps and tables. There are also interactive maps, plus global and country statistics.

Worldview Interactive – examines ‘the global issues, philosophies and the beliefs which shape our world’. There is world news and personal stories, plus articles on ‘faith and politics’, ‘global concern’, ’‘missiology and theology’, and ‘spiritual illumination’.
