Engage with WEC – get involved PDF Print E-mail

clowning in South Africa small button badge - Beyond the OrdinaryWEC's big idea is to present the Good News about Jesus – forgiveness and peace with God, and strength to live good lives – to peoples who've never heard it. And then to see local churches form.

It's often a slow process: living with people, listening to them, and learning language and culture can take years. Seeing churches grow to maturity can take decades.

Along the way, WEC has also become involved in many sorts of Christian service such as healing the sick, caring for AIDS orphans, working with drug addicts.prayer walking on a mission field

And everything takes place in a context of prayer.

So WEC can offer many ways for you to serve Christ and help fulfil the Great Commission: short-term or long-term, full-time, part-time or spare-time, on your own or with friends, here or overseas, by praying for a few moments or investing a whole lifetime. Come on in!

WEC also has specialist ministries devoted to children in crisis (Rainbows of Hope) and people with addictions (Betel).

WEC also has ministries based in the UK: like SOON, Geared For Growth, Radio Worldwide and Neighbours Worldwide.

Our local WEC Network teams organise one-day events and weekend retreats around the country. Check the Calendar of Events to ensure you don't miss anything.

Giving

WEC's expansion and outreach are not restricted by fixed budgets or fund-raising campaigns but by God's guidance and promises. How does that work?
