WEC's guiding principles PDF Print E-mail

Every WEC worker is committed to live out four Biblical principles which we call

the Four Pillars of WEC:  faith, sacrifice, holiness, and fellowship.

Faith

We recognise that God is the supplier of every need in our lives and ministries. Therefore we can trust Him totally to accomplish all that He wishes, in spite of opposition, difficulty or apparent impossibilities that we might experience.

Sacrifice

God's will takes precedence over our own in the way we live. Personal comfort and desires do not come first. If necessary, we are prepared to live a simple lifestyle in obedience to Jesus without regard to economic security or current trends and standards of living.

Holiness

We aim to live a life which is pleasing to God in thought, word and deed, not in our own strength but through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Fellowship

WEC workers are drawn from various denominational, national and ethnic backgrounds. We believe our oneness in Christ makes it possible for us to live and work together as brothers and sisters; therefore we make every effort to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
