Cote dIvoire: a new day? PDF Print E-mail

new road in Cote d'IvoireThere are signs of a new day for church and missions in the West African nation of Ivory Coast, after years of conflict.

Linda Nagel, Prayer Coordinator, reports: 'I spoke to Pastor Bamoussa in Touba, northern Côte d'Ivoire, recently.

'The situation in the country is improving and rebel soldiers are no longer in control. The government officials and school teachers from the south are returning (after five years of occupation by rebel forces).

'Pray that God will lay the burden of the unreached peoples of this area on the hearts of Christians in the south. Missionaries are needed to be messengers of hope and healing to this neglected area.'
