It's good to watch how quickly the buildings have sprung up from the ground. It's exciting to see the ‘promise' becoming a reality — and to see the fruit of our faith in God.

So be encouraged and keep praying. We cannot afford to lessen our intention to pray or slip into presumption, as we see things moving on.

Perservering faithwalls go up and doorframes set

One challenge to prayer is the ongoing nature of it. You will see that I have included the same prayer points below and this is deliberate — as in some senses they do not change. Persevering faith is such that we pray, and pray until we see a conclusion.

Leonard Ravenhill's challenging book 'Why Revival Tarries' puts it very well.

'Two pre-requisites to successful Christian living are vision and passion, both of which are born in and maintained by prayer ... the ministry of preaching is open to few, the ministry of prayer — the highest ministry of all human offices — is open to all.'

Please pray

  • For safety for the workers on site.2nd floor scaffold
  • For good relationships with the Contractor and the workers. This is an opportunity to demonstrate the substance and reality of our faith and to praise God for who He is, His faithfulness and His constancy in our lives.

God bless,
John & Pauline Bagg
