distributing papers in the streetSOON MinistriesSOON Ministries reaches millions of people with the gospel through a remarkable network of volunteers.

Its core activity is to edit single-sheet A4 size gospel papers in several languages and then send them out worldwide.

Currently they send out 1.5 million copies in 4 languages every three months:

  • five different languages Easy-English (SOON)
  • French (BIENTOT)
  • Swahili (UPESI)
  • Pulaar (BADAKE and BOOYATAA)

Close links are also maintained with CEDO, a similar-style gospel paper in Portuguese.

letterboxWhile a full-time staff of eleven prepares these papers for publication and oversees their distribution, their actual mailing out is dependent on a network of volunteers based mainly in the UK.

Most of the volunteers are Sending Units. These are individuals or groups (church, house, youth groups, etc.) who receive a quantity of language papers every three months along with a set of address labels and full instructions.

thumb_soon_logo.png Sending Units decide how many papers they can handle each quarter. Some Units post out envelopes each containing 3 or 4 copies; others wrap up larger quantities in rolls. The final tasks before mailing out are to buy the postage stamps for the envelopes or rolls — and to pray.
