John & Pauline Bagg
Hi there,
We have been a part of WEC, both as short-termers (1991-93) and as career missionaries since 1999.
We have four children and worked in Senegal, West Africa until 2006.
The longer we are part of WEC, the more we love and appreciate it! We count it a real privilege to rub
shoulders with people who are passionate about, and commit
their lives to, telling others about Jesus. People whose faith finds its expression in obedience to
God's calling in an amazing variety of ways both here in the UK and overseas.
Jesus left us with a very clear mission – to go into the entire world
sharing the Good News. But to be effective it is not simply about
'doing' it is also about 'being' and this is what WEC is all about as we
seek to live a radical life of faith, fellowship, holiness and, when
necessary, sacrifice.
As we look to the future, we are excited about what God is doing and
what role WEC has in His plans. The vision statement of WEC UK is
'working together, with the UK church and the worldwide fellowship of
WEC to see Christ known, loved and worshipped amongst the remaining
unevangelised peoples of the world'.
We live in an ever-changing world,
and so we must continuously assess how we can be most relevant and
effective, whilst at the same time holding true to our core values and
goals.
