Do you want to help children discover the thrill of getting involved with mission?
WEC have a wide range of materials about different peoples and cultures to help you do that: some free, some to buy, and some to borrow.
We can also help you locate and obtain appropriate information and materials from other sources, and we sometimes develop new resources to fit a group's specific interests.
Resource packs to buy
Ready-to-use sets of resources for teachers to use with a group of children. A typical pack focuses on one country or people group, and will include a leader's guide and worksheet, a story, games, activities, crafts or games, and prayer ideas.
A pack can be used
in different settings, and can provide up to a 2-hour programme.
The
material is mostly for 7–11 year olds; some include alternatives for younger
children.
There are even three resources in the Welsh language.

Free resources
Three leaflets are available to encourage and inspire
you to share mission with children:
Children's Resources Unit
is available to answer requests from children or teachers who want to learn more about and pray for countries and
peoples.
New packs are constantly being developed. If your chosen
topic is not available, we will seek to help you obtain sufficient information or resources to get started. Tell
us about your planned event – about one month ahead of time – the type
of venue, the intended purpose of the activities, the numbers expected,
the children's age-range, the event duration and probable
date(s).
The Children's Resources Unit has been the contact point for further information through the award-winning books, You Can Change the World (written by Jill Johnstone), You Too Can Change the World and the combined edition, Window On The World (both by Daphne Spraggett). Although these books are currently out of print, WEC continue to seek to help you, as you help children make the world come alive!
