2  We will then send you a preliminary PROFILE FORM. The information on this will help us to suggest suitable places for you to go.

3  Then you complete APPLICATION PAPERS & MEDICAL FORM. We ask for three people to give you a reference, including one from your church leader/pastor/minister.

4  Now comes the INTERVIEW. Once your references are in, if we feel we could offer you a placement, we would arrange for you to come for an interview with us, or with a WEC representative in your area.

5  We then ask you to do some READING before you depart. This will help you to prepare for your placement.

6  If your application is successful, and before leaving we will invite you to an ORIENTATION. This brief course will be a vital opportunity to prepare and to meet other Trekkers.

Trekking Deeper

Trekking Deeper is a devotional discipleship course written by Phil Grasham. Phil has worked in church-planting and Bible teaching overseas in several different countries, and was originally a short-term worker himself.

This course is written specifically for short-term volunteers to use during their placements. The aim is to help Trekkers keep their focus on Christ and grow spiritually while they are on assignment.
