Pauline Wager and Jenny Koelbing visit Chad in the second half of the month. Pray for safety as they travel in the east to an area where there are new openings for ministry outside of the main centres where we already work.
WEC UK: As part of our wider mobilisation strategy, we continue to develop the use of three centres in the UK in order to engage the Christian public with the Father's plan of redemption. Please trust with us as we pray the Lord will supply all we need to fulfil this vision - people, finance, wisdom etc...

We are involved in a number of mission conferences taking place in February, among them 'Move' in north Germany and a WEC conference in south Germany. It is our prayer that some people may hear God's call and move from a general interest in mission to personal involvement.

|
Missionary Training College: We have been working on modifications to the academic programme (to include more field experience) and the way we handle pastoral care (to have more individual mentoring). Our aim is to be more effective in all aspects of training workers, to see them grow in Christ-likeness and to prepare them for cross-cultural ministry.

|
|
Cornerstone College: Please pray for all the last minute needs of our students as they prepare to leave on their 3- or 6- week mission trips: visas and final travel arrangements, preparation of English lessons, testimonies, programmes for children and other materials.
Sending base: We are grateful that we were able to send out 10 WEC trekkers in 2009 and 3 long termers. We will have a Trek orientation from 22 to 26 February. Keep praying for more staff at our Sending Base, especially somebody for WEC Trek and media work.

Our Journey Team is out 'at the edge' of our involvement in church planting among the unreached peoples God has brought to our shores. The team has the opportunity not only to lead candidates through orientation to WEC and the practice of church planting, but also to maintain day-to-day 'coal-face' involvement as they engage with those they meet in the neighbourhood day by day.

CEDO (gospel broadsheet) ministry Please join us in prayer for more Cedo Dispatch Units. Again we are turning to the Lord in prayer for Him to raise up more of these groups in the UK as we recognize the importance of this missionary ministry which impacts thousands of lives.

Our ‘HIV/AIDS' ministry, the ‘Good Samaritan', needs volunteers to help in the pharmacy and with education, hospital visits and counseling. Pray for the formation of two support groups in local churches and that the new national committee to be formed will find individuals with vision, compassion and dedication.
