Applying to go
1 You can complete the preliminary profile form online, or contact us first with a general enquiry and we will then email you a preliminary profile form. The information you provide will help us to suggest suitable places for you to go.
2 We will then send you a full application form and medical form. We require you to provide us with the contact details of three referees, including one from your church leader/pastor/minister.
3 Once we feel we could offer you a placement and have received your references back, we will organise for you to have an interview with us or with a WEC representative in your area.
4 We then ask you to do some reading before you depart to help prepare you for your Trek.
5 If your application is successful, you will be required to do an orientation course with us. The course is designed to further prepare you for your Trek and is a great way to meet other Trekkers.
Discipleship materials
Trekking Deeper is a discipleship course of 9 books, written specifically for short-term volunteers to use during their placements.
The aim of the material is to help Trekkers keep their focus on Christ and grow spiritually while they are on assignment.
