WAP world adventure programme

designed for 7-11
or for 11-13 year olds
World Adventure Programmes help your kids to discover what it is like to live and work for God in another country.
WAPs are a combination of different elements to ensure fun and fellowship is balanced with the more serious parts of the programme:
- - looking at the Bible
- - specific World focus,
usually on a nation or ethnic group - - games and competitions
- - other creative and fun activities
Through Bible activities, the themes of world mission and Christian service are presented, with a clear presentation of the gospel included.
Where possible the country focus could be one where your church has a particular interest and perhaps where you have missionaries already working. Through games and other activities children will learn what it is like to live and work for God in another part of the world and even take part in ‘reaching the unreached’.
And it doesn’t stop there!
Through these programmes children are encouraged to discover what God wants them to do for Him as they grow in their Christian lives. Children are encouraged to read their Bibles and get to know God better and His plan for their lives.
And who knows ... maybe one-day children, through these programmes, may come to serve God overseas – reaching the unreached for Him – and that’s exciting!
