Engage with WEC - get involved

love the Gospel, love the people, love to goWEC's big idea is to present the Good News about Jesus – forgiveness and peace with God, and strength to live good lives – to peoples who've never heard it. And then to see local churches form.

It's often a slow process: living with people, listening to them, and learning language and culture can take years. Seeing churches grow to maturity can take decades.

Along the way, WEC has also become involved in many sorts of Christian service such as healing the sick, caring for AIDS orphans, working with drug addicts. And everything takes place in a context of prayer.

So WEC can offer many ways for you to serve Christ and help fulfil the Great Commission: short-term or long-term, full-time, part-time or spare-time, on your own or with friends, here or overseas – pray for a few moments or invest a whole lifetime!

Prayer

Do some 'heavy lifting' for the world's unreached peoples by joining a prayer group with either a WEC focus or a world focus.

Receive daily prayer points by e-mail or through the post, to keep your prayers relevant to God's work around the world.

Learning

what is Mission & Me?Mission & Me is a weekend to learn about God's world and your place in it.

WEC runs five training centres around the world. These help equip you with the personal, Biblical, spiritual and cultural resources that you need for effective cross-cultural Christian service.

WEC Trek is our short-term programme for individuals and teams.

Enquire about serving long term with WEC, both overseas and in the UK.

As many as 100 teachers are working for WEC International at any one time in mission schools on several continents, and and we usually have vacancies.

WEC also has specialist ministries devoted to children in crisis (Rainbows of Hope) and people with addictions (Betel).

WEC also has ministries based in the UK: like SOON, Geared For Growth, Radio Worldwide and Neighbours Worldwide.

WEC runs Summer Camps for 10-17 year olds every year. WEC also offer holidays and courses in the UK and abroad, all with a mission focus for adults and families.

Our local WEC Network teams organise one-day events and weekend retreats around the UK and Ireland. Check WEC UK's Calendar of Events to ensure you don't miss anything happening near you.

Giving

WEC's expansion and outreach are not restricted by fixed budgets or fund-raising campaigns but by God's guidance and promises. How does that work?
