This book reveals the heartbeat of a man deeply concerned with the apathy of the church at large towards world missions. Despite its sober reflections, the author's words breathe an atmosphere of confidence, not pessimism, because 'the modern missionary movement is God's enterprise, not man's and He will be able to take care of His own enterprise.' An excellent book for missionary executives, pastors, church missionary committee members, missionaries trying to get to the field, and every Christian who wants their heart's main beat to be after what God's heart beat is: world missions.
